1. Cherry Grove Pier

Cherry Grove Pier is actually a North Myrtle Beach treasure, especially for those who love a good fishing challenge. Whether you’re a serious angler or a casual fisher, you’ll find the waters around Cherry Grove Pier teeming with exciting catches like Spanish mackerel.

The pier also offers stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, making it a peaceful spot for a morning stroll or to simply sit and take in the ocean air. It’s a must-visit and a great place to enjoy a day at the beach with the family.

The Cherry Grove Pier, tackle shop, and Driftwood Restaurant and Bar are open daily. Free parking is available on the second floor of the parking garage across the street from the pier.

 

2. Springmaid Pier

Springmaid Pier is one of the most popular piers in Myrtle Beach, and for good reason. This 1,060-foot-long pier makes it a prime spot for anglers. Cast a line and try your luck at catching a variety of fish, including redfish, flounder, and drum.

Not into fishing? No worries! Springmaid Pier is also ideal for leisurely strolls and sunset photos or just unwinding as the ocean breeze sweeps over you.

Free parking for the pier is located across the street from the pier, as well as street parking.

 

3. Surfside Beach Fishing Pier

Located in the heart of Surfside Beach, Surfside Pier offers a more laid-back and family-friendly atmosphere. This pier is perfect for relaxing by the sea and enjoying Drippy's Homemade Ice Cream with the kids. The pier was rebuilt recently, ensuring it's in top-notch condition for visitors.

Fishing is also a favorite activity here. Rod rental and bait are available at King Fishing. A fishing pass will need to be purchased at Perry's Bait & Tackle Shop prior to dropping your line.

If you’re a fan of beachside restaurants, there are several nearby where you can grab a bite to eat after enjoying a few hours of sun and sea.

 

4. Pier 14

If you love pairing your ocean views with delicious food, Pier 14 is the place to be! Situated near Pier 14 Restaurant, this pier is perfect for combining a walk along the pier with a fantastic dining experience. The pier extends far enough out to offer great views of Myrtle Beach’s coastline and is a wonderful spot to catch a sunrise or sunset.

Its location and easy access to nearby shops, attractions, and eateries make it a hotspot for enjoying the boardwalk area without straying too far from the beach action.

It’s also a popular spot for photos, especially if you want to capture a snapshot of the iconic Myrtle Beach SkyWheel in the background.

Rent fishing rods at the gift shop, which has ample paid parking along North Ocean Boulevard.

 

5. 2nd Avenue Pier

If you’re visiting in the evening, grab a cocktail from the bar and watch the sunset turn the sky over the ocean a soft shade of pink—it’s the perfect way to end a beach day.

Fishing is also a hit here, with a variety of species up for grabs depending on the season. Even if you’re not into fishing, a walk along the 2nd Avenue Pier is a peaceful experience where you can soak up the beauty of Myrtle Beach from above the waves.

 

6. Pier at Garden City

With bars located right on the pier, it’s a fantastic place to relax with a drink while enjoying the ocean breeze and the sounds of waves crashing beneath your feet.

Parking is available underneath the pier and across the street in a paid lot.

 

7. Myrtle Beach State Park Pier
