Memories

For an unexepected trip to MB, Ocean Creek Resort was a true lifesaver for us.  My middle daughter was moving and en route from South Beach, Fl one her way to NY and was staying with her roommates family for a few days at MB.  I was recently employed at a new co. with no vacation as of yet, and had to "catch" my daughter while she was so close to Greensboro.  Realizing that MB would be far more fun than my daughter travelling to GSO, decided to venture to MB on a Thurs. for a short Fri and Sat night stay.  At the recommendation of the roommate's family (from MB), we booked at a different property other than Ocean Creek.  After arriving late Fri, and unpacking the granddauhgter and all the extras that entails, I came to the conclusion that apparently the roommate's family had never witnessed the property that they recommended.  We did sleep there Fri, night, however when hitting the shower bright and early Sat morn and only receiving a mere trickle of water, far less than a water hose, I pulled out the MB phone book and ran across Ocean Creek's add, phoned OC and was pleasantly surprised that they had an affordable 2 bedroom villa available that we could check into right away. I awakend my fellow travelers (my oldest daughter and grandchild) headed to the office and professionally explained my displeasure to them (I spared you from the gory details of the entire establishment), however the staff reacted professionally and refunded the one night stay. 

Ocean Creek Resorts was a true lifesaver in this situation in helping us remove ourselves from that horrible property.  We were so pleased to find such a lovely property with lots of room, swimming pools, ocean front acess, complete with trees and squirrels. All of this, plus the  location was perfect.  From only a short, but highly enjoyable night's stay at OC, I witnessed a beautiful landscaped property with a professional and courteous staff that I will, and have, recommended to friends and family.  Ocean Creek Resorts is now my choice of properties for the MB area and we will be visiting them again.
