Fond Memories of Girls Weekend Out

Every year, not the weekend of Thanksgiving but the following weekend (usually Thurs. to Sunday) some friends and I would go to Ocean Creek in Myrtle Beach. We'd catch one of the wonderful shows (our favorite was the Rockettes at the Palace), shop, eat and laugh till we wet our pants.
It would be me (40ish), a previous co-worker (70ish) and her daughter (40ish) and her cousin (Ms. Mildred, 80ish). Sometimes we added other friends (my best friend of 20+ years) or my sister-in-law. We shared many a trip but, alas, it just won't be the same now that Ms. Mildred has passed. I'll never forget the stories and memories we shared. We also took other trips over the years; New York @ Christmas, a Hawaiian cruise at Christmas, but we always went back to Myrtle Beach and stayed at Ocean Creek.
She will be missed but, hopefully, we will continue our annual pilgrimage and have even more stories to share.....
