Memories

I was born in Florence, SC, but have not been back since I was two.  Last year, we began publishing with the Coffee News.  It was a perfect fit for our business goals and since it is all good news, it is an uplifting and fun business.  The Coffee News Conference was at Ocean Creek this year.

WOW!  A chance for me to come back home and introduce my husband and our 7 year old son to proper southern hospitality.  Our stay at Ocean Creek was that and SO much more.  We had a great conference, networking with so many other publishers.  Our son played for hours and hours during his first visits to the beach.  He ran straight into the surf yelling, "Bring it On Ocean!"  Our room overlooked the beach and we sat and read together and talked and played listening to the calming sounds of the ocean.  We hunted for sea shells, made sand castles, swam, and played. 

Our son's school's mascot is Curious George.  A child may take him on trips with them if they agree to keep a journal telling about all they learned.  He couldn't stop writing.  We wrote about the sand, the ocean, the shells, the ducks, the turtles, Alligator Alley, T.I.G.E.R.S., etc.  This was the most relaxing & refreshing vacations we have ever spent with our son.  I would love to make it an annual destination!
