Memories

Last year, September 17, 2008, we celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary.  Didn't know really what we were going to do--a cruise or something tropical being the original idea but the bank account just didn't go along with that plan!!  We had been to Ocean Creek several times starting back in '95 or '96 and enjoyed ourselves every time so naturally this came up as an option.  We had never stayed in one of the towers so I said if we go I want ocean front way up!  We got way up--13th floor--and you can see for miles, from the balcony and from the front door entryway. 

On the morning of September 19 I woke up alone.  I wasn't concerned because my husband is a camera buff.  I figured he was out looking for photo opportunities (there are PLENTY!) but then I realized the camera was still in our room.....  Ok, he's out metal detecting...  I'll go look for him on the beach.  Well, I found him but he wasn't doing that.  He was writing in the sand in about 10 foot letters:

ELAINE   25   MORE?

I am sure that sometime in the next 25 we will make our way back to Myrtle Beach and Ocean Creek.  See you there!!
