Summer Parrot Head Festival – July 19th
Connect with your inner Jimmy Buffet at the Annual Parrot Head Festival held twice a year at La Belle Amie Vineyard. This festive event will offer guests hot summer tunes from live bands which will both play Jimmy classics, themed beach cocktails, discounted wine, and grilled summertime favorites. Food offering will include grilled items like handmade burgers and juicy hotdogs to lighter fare like wine and cheese plates, and much more. You won’t have to travel far to take advantage of this family favorite! Head right across the street to Barefoot Landing to enjoy the SummerFest! 2014 events. This ongoing summer promotion takes place throughout the week at various spots throughout this scenic venue. There will be roaming street entertainment, live bands, face painting, and interactive children’s games – to name a few. Come see Nick Pike from America’s Got Talent perform his mind boggling juggling act or dance and sing along to Nigel and Ally’s Traveling Dance Party. Other promotions include free carousel rides on Saturdays and a spectacular fireworks show over the lakes at 10:15 on Mondays. The best part is, all of these events are completely free of charge! Dive-In Movies at Myrtle Waves Water Park – Ongoing
Gather family and friends and head south to Myrtle Waves Water Park to enjoy a special dive-in movie! Each week, on Wednesday, guests are invited to the park at 4pm to enjoy a little wet n’ wild fun before the main event begins. The movie begins at dusk and will vary each week but will always be family friendly and appropriate for guests of all ages.
