Myrtle Beach Airport flies in Record 800,000 Passenger

The Myrtle Beach International Jetport (MYR) flew in its 800,000th passenger earlier this week, making 2007 a record year for air traffic in Myrtle Beach, SC. With the 2007 addition of local carrier Myrtle Beach Direct Air, adding to the offerings of Myrtle Beach Jetport mainstays Spirit Air and US Airways the future looks promising for flight traffic into Myrtle Beach.
