Why not enjoy a nice, relaxing BBQ with friends and family at your condo? All of the Ocean Creek accommodations come with a full kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need to whip up a meal fit for a king. Swing the doors to the balcony and the windows open to enjoy the Atlantic breeze and perhaps even a beautiful beach sunset.
If cooking for a crowd isn’t your thing – fret not! The Myrtle Beach area is home to several all American options to help you celebrate the fourth in style. For finger licking good BBQ, check out Big KT’s BBQ in North Myrtle Beach, Little Pigs BBQ in Myrtle Beach, or Prosser’s Bar-B-Q in Murrels Inlet. If your idea of a 4th of July feast consists of a big, juicy burger, look no farther than River City Café, voted the best burger joint in Myrtle Beach! Other popular area burger places include Hamburger Joe’s in North Myrtle Beach and Burky’s in Myrtle Beach.
Parades on the 4th?? Why yes! The biggest parade in the area is a floating boat parade in Murrells Inlet. This tradition is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The parade starts at high tide (5pm this year) and will float from the Garden City Point all the way down the inlet to Hot Fish Club. The best places to view this event include Marsh Walk, Belin Methodist Church, Nance’s Restaurant, and Hot Fish Club. Pawley’s Island also hosts a parade the morning of the 4th. Head down to enjoy a parade featuring floats made out of boats, cars, flatbeds, and more! The parade begins at 10am and is expected to last an hour.
