• Synthetic Ice Skating Rink at The Market Common - Dec. 18 - Jan. 2, 2011
Enjoy the synthetic ice skating rink from 10am-6pm every day from 12/18 until 1/2 (except Christmas Eve & Christmas Day). $7 donations to the Red Cross for All You Can Skate or spend $50 in our stores or restaurants and skate for FREE! Show your receipts in the park for the free ice skating voucher.

• Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens - Dec. 3-4, 10-11, & 16-18
Brookgreen's celebrated holiday festival with thousands of candles, lights and live entertainment from 3:00pm to 10:00pm.

Every Saturday from November 27 until December 18 will feature SNOW on the live Christmas Tree in front of Grand 14 Cinema!

Carolina Improv Company @ Uptown, Myrtle Beach Mall This unscripted audience-interactive comedy is created from audience suggestions about the holidays.

Myrtle Beach offers a lot of great entertainment options for the Christmas season, but one of our favorites has long been the Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens.  Each year the over the weekends preceeding Christmas, Brookgreen Gardens, which is generally recognized as one of the most beautiful places in the country, set the walkways and garden paths aglow with literally thousands of candles and luminaries as musicians perform and carolers sing Christmas classics.

This year's events are held on December 4 & 5, December 11 &12 and December 17, 18 & 19.

Tickets will be on sale at Brookgreen’s Admission Plaza and Lowcountry Information Center or by phone at (843) 235-6016. There will be a $1 processing fee to mail tickets.  Adult tickets are $15 and child tickets (ages 6-12) are $6.  All children ages five and under are free.
