The Hard Rock Park Is Coming!
Exciting events are taking place in Myrtle Beach with the announcement that the nearly $400 Million Hard Rock Park is currently scheduled to open in late spring/early summer of 2008. The 140 Acre music themed park will feature over 40 state of the art amusements, a live outdoor amphitheatre, restaurants, cafes and retail shops.
The first roller coaster - the Led Zeppelin - was recently completed and features three complete giant loops and nearly 4,000 feet of track. The coaster will travel at speeds up to 65 mph and will ride to perfectly timed music by who else? Led Zeppelin!

The Hard Rock Park will be located on Highway 501, just west of the Intracoastal Waterway in the space formerly occupied by the outlet shops at Waccamaw and Fantasy Harbour.
